DLC vacuum coating equipment is specially used to produce engine parts, non-ferrous metal cutting tools, non-ferrous metal and stainless steel forming mold, sliding seal parts, semiconductor mold, injection mold etc for machinery equipment, mold, cutting tools, automotive components, electronics and aerospace industry.
Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) is a metastable amorphous material. Its mechanical, electrical, optical and tribological properties are similar to diamond. Its thermal conductivity is 2-3 times than copper. It is characterized by high transparency, good chemical stability, top hardness, best anti-fraying, excellent chemical inertia, low dielectric constant, wide optical bandgap and good biocompatibility. DLC film represents the insulating amorphous carbon film with hardness up to 20% of natural diamond.
